Correct Answer - Option 1 : White metal

Explanation:

White metal

  • The white metal is an alloy of Lead and Lithium metal.
  • White metal bearings are used in motor engines.
  • The alkali metals are quite useful.
  • It contains a very less amount of copper.

Muntz Metal

  • Muntz metal is also a type of brass which contains 40% zinc and 60% Copper with excellent tensile strength and lesser ductility.
  • It is also known as yellow metal.
  • The addition of 1% tin to Muntz metal increases corrosion resistance to marine environments and the Brass called Naval brass.

Bronze

  • An alloy of copper (75 to 95%) and tin (5 to 25%).
  • Hard, resistant wear and can be cast into shape and rolled into wires.
  • Corrosion-resistant.
  • Used in hydraulic fittings, pump linings, rods, wires, and in making utensils.

German silver

  • German silver is an alloy of zinc, copper, and nickel metals, sometimes it also contains lead and tin metals in it.
  • German silver varies in composition, the percentage of the three elements ranging approximately as follows: Copper from 50% to 61.6%
  • Zinc from 19% to 17.2%
  • Nickel from 30% to 21.1%.
