Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 1428

GIVEN:

Marked Price (M.P) = Rs. 2100 ,

Two successive Discount = 20% and 15%

FORMULA USED:

Net Discount = (-X – Y + XY/100)

S.P = M.P × (100 – D%)/100

CALCULATION:

Net Discount = (- X - Y + XY/100)

⇒ - 20 - 15 + 20 × 15/100

⇒ - 35 + 3

⇒ - 32

Net discount% = 32%

Selling Price(S.P) = Marked Price(M.P) × (100 - Discount)/100

⇒ S.P = 2100 × (100 - 32)/100

⇒ S.P = 2100 × 68/100

⇒ S.P = 68 × 21

⇒ S.P = Rs. 1428

∴ Selling Price of the Toys is Rs. 1428
