Correct Answer - Option 3 : 2

Given:

Three numbers x, x+1, and x+3

Concept used:

Prime numbers are the positive integers having only two factors, 1 and the integer itself, where 1 is neither prime nor composite.

Calculation:

Lets go through the options

⇒ Let x = 0 then 0, 1, 3

but 0 is not a prime number

⇒ Let x = 1 then 1, 2, 4

where 1 is prime but 2 and 4 are not prime.

⇒ Let x = 2 then 2, 3, 5

Yes all these are prime numbers.

⇒ Let x = 101 then 101, 102, 104

where 102,104 are not prime.

for x equals to 2 we get three prime numbers.
