Correct Answer - Option 2 : Mechanical skills

Intellectual Abilities are the capacity to take in, compare, and recall data. This process starts with perception and leads to the data being put into short-term and then, hopefully, long-term memory.

  • Intellectual ability is the capacity to do activities like thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving.
  • Memory, comprehension, reasoning, analyzing, and problem-solving are examples of intellectual skills.
  • Mechanical skills: The definition of mechanical is something that relates to the skill or use of machinery or tools. An example of mechanical skill, when someone is able to fix machines, which doesn’t require high intellectual abilities.

Technical skills:

Technical skills are sets of abilities or knowledge used to perform practical tasks in the areas of mechanics, science, mathematics, and information technology. In finance, technical skills may also refer to those utilized by investors and analysts who follow the procedures of technical analysis.

  • Technical analysis requires a variety of mathematical skills, often advanced in nature, to produce price chart analysis and model trends that look at historical information to predict future price movements, which require high intellectual ability.
  • In an organization, technical skills involve skills that give the managers the ability and the knowledge to use a variety of techniques to achieve their objectives. These skills not only involve operating machines and software, production tools, and pieces of equipment but also the skills needed to boost sales, design different types of products and services, and market the services and the products.

Teaching skills:

  • Teaching skills are those necessary for creating lesson plans, instructing students, working with administrators, and interacting with parents.
  • Some of these skills may be innate to the teacher’s personality, but teachers may learn some as a result of formal education or on-the-job experience. With these skills, teachers learn to work with children to develop their intellectual ability and critical thinking.

Management skills:

Management skills can be defined as certain attributes or abilities that an executive should possess in order to fulfil specific tasks in an organization.

  • They include the capacity to perform executive duties in an organization while avoiding crisis situations and promptly solving problems when they occur.
  • Management skills can be developed through learning and practical experience as a manager.
  • Management and leadership skills are often used interchangeably as they both involve planning, decision-making, problem-solving, intellectual abilities, communication, delegation, and time management.

So, from the above explanation, one can conclude that mechanical skill does not require high intellectual ability.
