Correct Answer - Option 1 : 70 kmph

GIVEN:

A person travels from A to B at a speed of 60 km/hr and returns by increasing his speed by 40%.

FORMULA USED:

Average speed = 2XY/(X + Y)

CALCULATION:

X = 60 kmph, Y = 60 × 1.4 = 84 kmph

So,

Average speed = (2 × 60 × 84)/144 = 70 kmph
