Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 300

GIVEN:

A and B can do a work in 6, 8 days respectively. Doing that work together, they get an amount of Rs. 700.

CONCEPT:

Ratio of amount = Ratio of efficiency

CALCULATION:

Efficiency ratio is inversely proportional to the Time

Then

Efficiency ratio = 8 : 6 = 4 : 3

Hence,

B’s share = (700 × 3)/7 = Rs. 300
