Correct Answer - Option 2 : 300 m

Given

Train A of length 120 m can cross a platform of length 240 m in 18 second

The ratio of speed train A and train B is 4: 5

Calculation

Distance covered = 120 + 240 = 360 m

Time = 18 second

Then,

Speed of train A = Distance/Time

Speed of train A = 360/18 = 20

The ratio of speed train A and train B is 4: 5

4 unit = 20

5 unit = 25 = Speed of train B

Then,

Length of train B = Speed × time

Length of train B = 25 × 12

∴ Length of train B is 300 meter
