Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs 75

Given:

The selling price of 145 metres cloth = Rs. 12,325

The profit = Rs 10 per metre of cloth

Formula used:

Cost price = Selling price - Profit

Calculation:

1 metre of cloth = Rs. 10 profit

145 metre of cloth = Rs. 10 × 145 = 1450

Cost price = Selling price - Profit

Cost price of 145 metre = 12,325 - 1450 = Rs. 10,875

∴ Cost price of 1 metre cloth = 10875/145 = Rs. 75
