Correct Answer - Option 2 : 13.9°C

Given:

The maximum temperatures (in °C) of a city on 7 consecutive days

Concept used:

Range of a given data = Maximum value - Minimum value

Detailed solution:

We arrange the data in ascending order

24.2,25.7,29.3,31.9,33.5,34.3,38.1

Maximum value in the data = 38.1

Minimum value in the data = 24.2

∴ The range of the data is 38.1 - 24.2 = 13.9
