Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : Rs. 2,700

Given:

Investment of A = Rs. 20000

Investment of B = Rs. 18000

Investment of C = Rs. 14000

Profit = Rs. 7800

Formula used:

Profit = Investment × Time

Calculations:

⇒ A × 12 : B × 12 : C × 12

⇒ 20000 × 12 : 18000 × 12 : 14000 × 12

⇒ A : B : C = 20 : 18 : 14

⇒ A : B : C = 10 : 9 : 7

Let, the ratio is 10x, 9x and 7x

⇒ 10x + 9x + 7x = 7800

⇒ 26x = 7800

⇒ x = 300

⇒ Profit share of B = 9x

⇒ Profit share of B = 9 × 300

⇒ Profit share of B = Rs. 2700

The profit share of B is Rs. 2700.
