Find p(3) if p(x) = x2 – 5x + 6 is given.

p(x) = x2 – 5x + 6 (given) 

then p(3) = 32 – 5(3) + 6 

= 9 – 15 + 6 = 15 – 15 = 0 

∴ P(3) = 0
