Solve the following pair of linear equations graphically. 

2x + y = 4 and 2x – 3y = 12

Given equations are 

2x + y – 4 = 0 and 2x – 3y – 12 = 0 

The equations are consistent. 

∴ They intersect at one point giving only one solution.

From the observing of above graph the solution is 

x = 3 and y = -2
