Best answer

The distance travelled by walk = 10 km

Let the distance travelled by train = x km say.

The distance travelled by bus

= 2 × x = 2x km

∴ 10 + x + 2x = 70

⇒ 3x = 70 – 10

⇒ 3x = 60

⇒ x = \(\frac{60}3\) = 20

⇒ x = 20

∴ The distance travelled by train = 20 km.
