Best answer

i)  \(\frac n5\,-\,\frac57=\frac 23\)

ii)  \(\frac x3\,-\,\frac x4=14\)

⇒ \(\frac{4x\,-\,3x}{12} = 14\)

⇒ \(\frac x{12}= 14\)

⇒ x = 12 × 14 = 168

∴ x = 168

iii) \(\frac z2\,+\,\frac z3\,-\,\frac z6=8\)

iv) \(\frac {2p}3\,-\,\frac p5=11\frac23\)

⇒ \(\frac{10p\,-\,3p}{15} = \frac{35}{3}\)

⇒ \(\frac {7p}{15} = \frac{35}{3}\)

⇒ \(\frac p5= 5\)

⇒ p = 5 x 5 = 25

∴ p = 25
