Best answer

Inner diameter of the circular well, d = 3.5 m

Thus its radius, r = d/2 = 3.5/2 = 1.75 m

Depth of the well (height) = 10 m

i) Inner C.S.A. = 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 1.75 × 10

= 110 m2

ii) Cost of plastering at the rate of

₹ 40 / m2 = 110 × 40 = ₹ 4400
