O’ is the centre of the circle. 

AB = CD (equal chords from the figure) 

∴ ∠AOB = ∠COD 

[ ∵ equal chords make equal angles at the centre] 

∴ ∠COD = 90° [ ∵ ∠AOB = 90° given]
