β = ΔIC / ΔIB

ΔIB = 30 – 20 IC = 4mA (reference value given)

= 10 μA

ΔIC = = 4.5 – 3

= 1.5mA

β = [1.5 × 10-3] / [10 × 10-6]

= 150
