Check whether the value given in the brackets is a solution to the given equation or not : 3m/5 -7 = 1 (m = 10)

Given 3m/5 – 7 = 1

Substitute m = 10 in the given equation

\(\frac {3(10)}{5}\) – 7 = 1

⇒ 3 × 2 – 7 = 1 

⇒ 6 – 7 = 1 

∴ – 1 = 1 LHS ≠ RHS 

So, m = 10 is not the solution of given equation.
