Correct option is C) 1/2 (a2 – b2)

Diagonals of rhombus are d1 = (a + b) and d2 = (a - b)

Then area of rhombus = 1/2 d1d2 = 1/2 (a + b)(a - b) = 1/2(a2 - b2)
