Given digits are 6, 4, 0, 8, 7, 9

The greatest number formed by the digits = 9,87,640

The smallest number formed by the digits = 4,06,789

Sum of the numbers = 9,87,640 + 4,06,789 = 13,94,429

Difference between numbers = 987640 – 406789 = 580851
