1. Though Ganapati Deva began his rule under unfavourable circumstances, his reign was destined to become one of the most brilliant epochs in the history of Andhra.
2. He united all Telugu speaking people. He had a title Mahamandaleswara.
3. He built up an extensive empire stretching from the Godavari region upto Chengalpattu and from Yelagandal up to the sea.
4. He invaded the coastal region and captured Vijayawada and the island of Diviseema.
5. He issued the Motupalli inscription. According to that inscription, he enunciated the principles of taxation, foreign trade and imposition of taxes on various goods.
6. He took measures for improving Trade and Agriculture. He constructed reservoirs and dug tanks for irrigation.
7. Large amount of forest land was brought under cultivation. Ganapathideva encouraged temple construction and literary works.
8. He strengthened his relations with neighbouring kingdoms by arranging matrimonial alliances.
