Tagore’s poem ‘My Dependence’ tells us how human beings are dependent on others from birth to death. Tagore says that he is dependent on his parents for their care and grace. Later he depends on his relatives for advice. He says that he depends on friends and colleagues for guidance and close friendship. Sometimes he depends on his neighbours to hear the words of envy when he rises his fortune.
