Given AB = 10 cm, DE = 4 cm

Area of parallelogram ABCD = Base x Height

= 10 x 4 = 40 cm2

Also area of parallelogram ABCD = Base x Height

40 = AD x BF

40 = 6 x BF

BF = \(\frac {40}{6} \frac {20}{3} = 6\frac 23\) = 6.6cm
