Correct option: (c) 7

Explanation:

Tr+1 = ncr an–r br

∴ Tr = ncr–1 ∙ an–r+1 ∙ br–1

∴ Tr = 12cr–1 x12–r+1 ∙ (1 / 2x)r–1

∴ Tr is constant

⇒ x12–r+1 ∙ x1–r = x0

∴ 12 – r + 1 + 1 – r = 0

∴ 14 = 2r

∴ r = 7
