Correct option: (b) 7

Explanation:

Tr+1 = ncr an–r br 

Tr = ncr–1 an–r+1 ∙ br–1 

∴ Tr = 9cr–1 [(3x2) / 2]9–r+1 ∙ [– (1 / 3x)]r–1 

given Tr is constant

⇒ x18–2r+2 ∙ x–r+1 = x0 

∴ 18 – 2r + 2 – r + 1 = 0

∴ 21 = 3r

∴ r = 7
