A perons with a normal near point (25cm) uses a compound microscope consisting of an objective lens of focal length 8.0 mm and an eye-lense of focal length 2.5 cm. A small objective placed at a distance of 9.0 mm in front of the objective lens produces an image, which is then magnified by the eye-lens to produce a virtual image at the near point. Assume that the eye is placed close to the eye-piece.
