Aerobic: The term 'aerobic' means 'with oxygen'. Any physical activity which requires increased oxygen intake is an aerobic activity. During aerobic activities, a continuous supply of oxygen by the body is maintained in order to burn carbohydrates and fats for the production of energy for hese activities.
