What are modified allele how the modified allele affects the phenotype of an organisms

Modified allele is the alternative form of the gene and it is always recessive allele. Basically most of the modified allele had a bad effect on the organism in which it is present. As an example it causes albinism, hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, etc which are harmful for the organism.
