The magnitude of the force experienced by a current carrying conductor placed in a uniform magnetic field is given by:-

\(F = BIL sinθ\),

(a) As \(F ∝I\), so, If current is decreased, then the force experienced by the current carrying conductor will also be decreased.

(b) As \(F ∝L\) so if the length of the conductor is increased, then the force experienced by the current carrying conductor will also be increased.

F = iBl sin θ

Fmax = iBl sin\(\frac{\pi}2\)

Fmax = iBl

Then Current i = \(\frac{F}{Bl}\)
