Correct option is (C) 42o

Range of projectile = \(\frac{u^2sin2\theta}g\) = \(\frac{u^2sin(2\times42^o)}g\) 

Rmax = \(\frac{u^2sin84^o}g\) 

84o ≈ 90o

Rmax = \(\frac{u^2}g\)
