Does particle collide at centre of mass always ?

If we throw two object from two differnt buildings at different angle with horizontal  in the presence of gravity with given initial velocities, does the point where they collide always the centre of mass of the two?

In physics while dealing with small, we can consider it to be a point objects. So it will collide at center of mass.
