For an input signal of \( V_{1}=10 \operatorname{Sin} \omega t \),draw the output waveform of half-wave and full-wave rectifier circuit. Calculate the Average Value, RMS value, Ripple factor, and Efficiency parameters for the above output waveforms.

Draw the output waveform of half wave Rectifier.

Average value of Half wave rectifier  = \(\frac{V_m}{\pi}\)

 = \(\frac{10}{\pi}\) = 3.18

Output wave form of full wave rectifier

Average value of wave rectifier = \(\frac{2V_m}{\pi}\)

 = \(\frac{2\times10}{3.14}\) = 6.36

RMS value of Half wave rectifier  = \(\frac{V_m}2\) = 10/2 = 5

RMS value of Full wave rectifier = \(\frac{V_m}{\sqrt 2}\)

Ripple factor of half wave = 1.21

Ripple factor of full wave rectifier = 0.48
