Best answer

The surface area of sphere = 616cm2

Since, the surface area of sphere = 4πr2

Therefore,

\(4\pi r^2 = 616\)

\(4\times\frac{22}{7}\times r^2= 616\)

\(r^2=616\times\frac74\times\frac1{22}\)

r2 = 49

r = 7 cm

∴ Required radius, r = 7cm
