Steps of construction:
1. Draw a line segment AB = 7 cm
2. Make a half line AX by taking ∠BAX as an acute angle.
3. Mark points X1, X2, X3,......,X8 on half line AX such that AX1 = X1X2 = X2X3 = ... = X7X8.
4. Join BX8 and determine the angle ∠AX8B.
5. Make a line X5C such that ∠AX5C = ∠AX8B which intersect line segment AB at Point C.
6. C is required point which divides given line segment AB in the ratio 5 : 3.
