2y3 - 4y2 - 8y + 16  = 0

⇒ 2y2(y - 2) - 8(y - 2) = 0

⇒ (2y2 - 8)(y - 2) = 0

⇒ 2(y2 - 4) (y - 2) = 0

⇒ 2(y + 2) (y - 2)2 = 0

⇒ y = -2, 2, 2

Hence, all zeros of the polynomial are 2 and -2 where 2 repeats two times.
