The Given circuit is a balanced wheatstone bridge. So, the current in R is 0.

Now, R and 2R are in series in the upper branch connected across AB.

Their equivalent resistance = 2R + R = 3R

Similarly the equivalent resistance of the lower branch = 3R

Equivalent resistance of entire circuit, R

\(\frac{3R}{2} \)
