Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of diseases. One can be considered to be in a state of positive health when his surrounding conditions provide him a healthy environment. Unhygienic conditions like sewage, domestic water, garbage, toxic substances and harmful gases pollute the surrounding environment which may cause several diseases and psychie disorders that ultimately deteriorates the health of a person.
Health depends on three major factors- physical, social and mental. If the environment is contaminated it adversely affects the physical health of the organism residing in the particular area.
