A famous relation in physics relates moving mass m to the rest mass m0 of a particle in terms of it's speed 'v' and speed of light 'c'. A boy recalls the relation almost correctly but forget where to put 'c'. He writes m= m0/square root of 1-v2.

Guess where to put the missing 'c'?

Quantities inside functions (here square root) should be dimensionless. Term  [1−v2] should be positive and it will be dimensionless quantity. Thus, the correct formula is m= \(= \frac{m_0}{\sqrt{1-\frac{V^2}{C^2}}}\)
