In ‘C’ language, whatever values are given or displayed on a monitor, it can be file handling first stored in a buffer area.

The two buffer areas used for this are:

stdin: It stands for keyboard buffer as it stores the information sent by the keyboard.

stdout: It stands for standard output buffer, le., monitor of the computer.
