|x - 3| = x - 3

If x - 3 \(\ge\) 0 then |x- 3| = x - 3  (Always)

Hence, if \(\ge\) 3 then |x - 3| = x - 3

⇒ |x - 3| = x - 3 then x \(\ge\) 3 or \(x\in[3,\infty).\)
