1 mol of CO2 = 12 + 32 = 44g

Number of oxygen in 1 molecule of CO2 = 2

Therefore,

44g of CO2 contains 2 mol of oxygen

18g of CO2 contains = 2/44 × 18 = 0.81 mol of oxygen

1 mil = 6.022 × 10²³ atoms

0.81 mol = 4.877 × 10²³atoms
