C = 8 x 10-6 F

V = 400V

We know, energy stored in a capacitor,

U = 1/2 CV2

U =1/2 x 8 x 10-6 x (400)2

U = 64 x 10-2 J

U = 0.64 J

So, energy stored in the capacitor is 0.64 J.
