A democratic government is people’s own government. People have faith in it because it provides equal status to all and resolves conflicts among individuals in an amicable way. People wish to be ruled by representatives elected by them. They also believe that democracy is suitable for their country. When people get some benefits, they start expecting more which is quite natural.
