Total annual expenditure of the family = Rs. (4 x 2570 + 3 x 2490 + 5 x 3030)

= Rs. (10280 + 7470 + 15150)

= Rs. 32900

Total income = Rs. (32900 + 5320) = Rs. 38220

∴  Required average monthly income = \(\frac{3880}{12}\) = Rs. 3185
