\(8 + 16 + 24 + \,....+ 8n\)

\(= 8(1 + 2 + 3 + ...+ n)\)

\(= 8\frac {n(n+ 1)}{2}\)     \(\left(\because 1 + 2 + 3 + ....+ n = \frac {n(n + 1)}{2}\right)\) 

\(= 4n(n+ 1)\)

Hence proved.
