Explanation:

Parabola is 9y² – 16x – 12y – 57 = 0

∴   9[y² – (12/9)y] – 16x – 57 = 0

∴   9[y – (2/3)]² – 16x – 4 – 57 = 0

∴   [y – (2/3)]² – (16/9)x – (61/9) = 0

∴   [y – (2/3)]² = (16/9)x + (61/9) 

∴ It is right hand parabola axis is y – (2/3) = 0

i.e. 3y – 2 = 0.
