Correct option is A. It has a 75 % chance of occurring and a 25 % chance of not occurring

If an event has a probability of \(\frac 34 \) then it means it has a 75% chance of occuring and a 25% chance of not occuring.

As by changing given probability into percentage, we obtain

\(\frac34 \times 100\% = 75\%\)

\(P(\bar E) = 1 - P(E) = 1 - \frac 34 = \frac 14 = \frac 14 \times 100\% = 25\%\)
