The correct option (a) lie on a straight line

Explanation:

x1, x2, x3 are in G.P. and y1, y2, y3 also in G.P.

∴ (x2/x1) = (x3/x2) = r and (y2/y1) = (y3/y2) = r

∴ all point lie on a straight line.
