Best answer

\(\frac{nP_r}{nC_r}\) = 24

∴ \(\frac{\frac{ni}{(n-r)i}}{\frac{ni}{ri(n-r)i}}=24\) = 24

∴ r! = 24

∴ r! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1

∴ r! = 4!

∴ r = 4
