A box contains 3 blue , 2 white and 4 red marbles. If a marble is drawn at random from the box, What is the probability that it will be a

(i)  white ? ,

(ii)  blue ? ,

(iii)  red ?

Blue marbles in box = 3

White marbles in box = 2

Red marbles in box = 4

Total number of marbles = 9

∴ Probability of white marble = P(W)
